After that, we’ll make our way to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital. Here, we’ll explore the ancient Oudayas Kasbah, which dates back to the 12th century and played a vital role in protecting against the Spanish and Portuguese. Our tour continues with a visit to the Mohammed V Mausoleum, a splendid example of Moroccan and Andalusian architectural styles. Our journey begins with a visit to the delightful city of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” In 2015, it was even recognized as the world’s second-cleanest city. A picturesque start to our expedition.
As we continue, we’ll pause to rest in the serene Middle-Atlas cedar forest. Here resides the endangered Barbary Macaques, known for their friendly nature. A delightful encounter awaits as we share moments with these charming creatures.
Following a satisfying lunch in either Midelt or Zaida, our path takes us through the awe-inspiring high-Atlas Mountains. These majestic peaks offer panoramic vistas that promise breathtaking photographs. A brief pause at the Ziz Valley grants us the opportunity to capture its beauty through the lens before our final stretch.
With anticipation building, we’ll reach Merzouga desert through Erfoud. Upon arrival at Erg Chebbi, prepare for a camel trek, a journey that promises a front-row seat to an enchanting sunset. Our destination for the evening is a luxurious desert camp. As night falls, dinner is served, either beneath the starry heavens or within the comfort of our tented restaurant.

Further along, a stop is due at the impressive Todra Gorge, a place cherished by mountain climbers and nature enthusiasts alike. Here, you’ll have the chance to explore a fortified Kasbah, a historical gem that stands as a testament to the past. As the day winds down, we’ll arrive at your comfortable haven in the Dades Gorges, a place where relaxation and tranquility reign supreme.

Start your day with a delightful breakfast that will fuel your journey ahead. Then, we’ll head through the lovely Valley of the Roses towards Kalaa Mgouna. Here, you’ll have the chance to visit a Rosewater cooperative and learn about the traditional way of making perfumes from rose water.
Our adventure continues as we move on to the oasis of Skoura, famous for its wide groves of date palms. From there, we’ll travel to the UNESCO World Heritage site, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Enjoy a lavish lunch before we take a guided tour of the Kasbah, known for its appearances in Hollywood movies and fashion shoots.
Later in the afternoon, we’ll take a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains, passing through Tizi Ntichka Pass and coming across various Berber villages. You’ll notice that the lifestyle in these villages hasn’t changed for centuries, with many locals still involved in traditional activities like herding. As the sun begins to set, we’ll reach Marrakech in the late afternoon, bringing an end to a day full of cherished memories.
