Itinerary
Your Moroccan adventure begins the moment you land at Casablanca Mohammed V Airport. You’ll be warmly welcomed by your local guide, ready to whisk you away to your comfortable hotel. If time allows, immerse yourself in the grandeur of the Hassan II Mosque — an architectural marvel standing proudly beside the Atlantic Ocean. Wander along the lively Corniche or explore the bustling city center as you soak in the vibrant energy of Morocco’s largest city. This evening, rest well, preparing for the journey ahead.
After breakfast, begin your journey north to explore two of Morocco’s most charming cities.
Your first stop is Rabat, the peaceful capital of Morocco. Visit the impressive Hassan Tower, a beautiful unfinished minaret, and the nearby Mausoleum of Mohammed V, where Morocco’s royal history rests. Walk through the quiet streets of the Kasbah of the Udayas, a white-and-blue neighborhood perched above the Atlantic Ocean — perfect for photos and a relaxed stroll.
Continue the scenic drive through the green hills of the Rif Mountains toward the famous blue city of Chefchaouen. Along the way, enjoy views of the countryside and stop for lunch at a local restaurant.
As you arrive in Chefchaouen, you’ll be welcomed by its cool mountain breeze and magical blue-painted streets. Spend the evening exploring the medina’s charming alleyways or simply relaxing at a rooftop café with mint tea and views of the mountains.
Overnight in Chefchaouen
After enjoying breakfast in the peaceful blue town of Chefchaouen, your journey continues south toward Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. Known for its grand gates, royal stables, and historic medina, Meknes offers a glimpse into the glory of Morocco's past. You’ll walk through Bab Mansour, one of the most impressive gates in North Africa, and explore the vibrant streets filled with local life.
Next, travel a short distance to Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman archaeological site. Here, you’ll stroll among ancient columns and explore beautiful mosaics that have survived for centuries. Your guide will share stories about Roman life in North Africa and the significance of this ancient city.
In the late afternoon, continue your drive to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco. As you enter the city, you’ll feel the deep history and energy of this unique place, where traditions are still alive in the maze-like old medina.
Overnight stay in Fes (hotel or riad).
Today, you’ll visit the heart of Fes — the old medina. It’s a big, historic area with small streets full of local shops, colors, and smells. It’s also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest car-free areas in the world.
With your local guide, you’ll see important places like the outside of the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque — one of the oldest universities in the world — and the Nejjarine Fountain, covered in traditional tiles. You’ll also walk through artisan areas where people work with leather, wood, and pottery using traditional methods.
At lunchtime, enjoy a Moroccan meal in a local riad-style restaurant inside the medina.
In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to walk around, shop for souvenirs, or simply enjoy the feel of the old city.
Overnight stay in Fes
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Ifrane, a clean and quiet town known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its European-style houses and cool weather.
We’ll stop to see the famous Lion Stone — a carved rock shaped like a lion. It’s a nice spot for photos and has a bit of mystery behind it.
Next, we continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we’ll visit the Cedar Forest, where you might see wild monkeys (Barbary macaques). They often come close, and it’s fun to watch them.
Then, we drive through the wide Ziz Valley and its beautiful gorges. The scenery here is great for photos, with palm trees and rocky mountains.
By late afternoon, we reach the Sahara Desert near Merzouga and the big sand dunes called Erg Chebbi. You’ll ride a camel into the dunes and watch the sunset — a peaceful and beautiful moment in the desert.
Overnight in a hotel or riad near the dunes.
After breakfast, we start the day by exploring the Merzouga desert and the famous Erg Chebbi dunes.
Our first stop is the Khettaras, which are old underground channels used to bring water from the mountains to the desert. It’s an interesting way to see how people used smart methods to get water in this dry area.
Then we head to Khamlia village, where we meet the Gnawa people. They are known for their special music and African roots. You’ll enjoy a short live performance — full of rhythm and good vibes.
Next, we go off-road around the dunes to see old mines and visit Berber nomads living in the desert. You’ll be invited to sit in their tents, drink mint tea, and learn a bit about their simple, traditional way of life.
Later in the afternoon, get ready for a camel ride across the dunes. As the sun sets, the sand glows in orange and gold — a beautiful and peaceful moment.
At the end of the day, we reach your luxury desert camp, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night under the stars, enjoying the calm and magic of the Sahara.
After breakfast in Merzouga, we say goodbye to the Sahara and begin our drive toward the mountains.
Our first big stop is the Todra Gorges — a stunning canyon with tall red cliffs that reach up to 300 meters high. We’ll take some time to walk between the cliffs, enjoy the fresh air, take pictures, or just relax and enjoy the view.
Then we continue our journey through beautiful valleys and mountains toward the Dades Gorges. This area is known for its amazing rock shapes and winding mountain roads, including the famous Tisdrine switchbacks — a great spot for photos!
We’ll take it easy as we drive through the valley, with time to stop and enjoy the best views along the way.
By late afternoon, we arrive at your guesthouse or hotel in the Dades Valley. It’s a peaceful place where you can relax, enjoy the scenery, and finish the day with a delicious Moroccan dinner
After breakfast in the calm Dades Valley, we start our drive toward Marrakech.
Our first stop is the city of Ouarzazate, also called the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Many famous movies and TV shows were filmed here. If you like, you can visit the Atlas Studios to see real movie sets and learn how films are made in the desert.
As we continue the drive, you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the High Atlas Mountains, Berber villages, and wide desert landscapes.
In the late afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech, known as the Red City. After checking into your hotel or riad, you’ll have the evening free. You can visit the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, walk through the colorful souks (markets), or relax in a cozy café
After breakfast at your riad or hotel, you will meet your professional local guide at 9:30 AM for a full-day exploration of Marrakech, one of Morocco’s most vibrant and historic cities.
Your journey begins with a visit to the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech, famous for its magnificent 12th-century minaret that dominates the skyline. While non-Muslims are not permitted to enter, the exterior is a masterpiece of Islamic architecture.
Next, you'll walk to the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the bustling heart of the city, where snake charmers, storytellers, musicians, and traditional food vendors create an unforgettable atmosphere.
From there, continue to the Bahia Palace, an opulent 19th-century palace known for its exquisite mosaic floors, painted ceilings, and peaceful courtyards.
Nearby, you’ll explore the Saadian Tombs, a hidden royal necropolis rediscovered in the early 20th century. These tombs are beautifully decorated and offer insight into the Saadian dynasty's grandeur.
Your guide will then lead you through the labyrinthine alleys of the Medina and the vibrant souks, where artisans craft and sell traditional goods like spices, leather, carpets, and lanterns. Your guide will help you navigate and understand the different craft sections.
In the afternoon, you have the option to visit the serene Majorelle Garden, an artistic oasis filled with exotic plants, fountains, and vibrant blue architecture.
The tour is flexible and can be adjusted according to your interests.
In the late afternoon, you will return to your accommodation. The evening is free for you to enjoy Marrakech at your own pace — perhaps with a rooftop dinner, a visit to a traditional hammam, or a return to Jemaa el-Fnaa to experience its nighttime magic.
After breakfast, transfer to Marrakech or Casablanca Airport based on your flight schedule.
