Itinerary
Our journey begins with stunning views of the Atlas Mountains as we cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. We'll visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for movies like The Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Next, we'll explore Ouarzazate, home to the Atlas Film Studios and an ancient Kasbah. Continuing from Marrakech, we'll head to the Valley of Roses, known for its annual Festival of Roses. We'll spend the night in Dades Gorge at a local hotel, where dinner is included
Today, we'll travel by 4×4 to Todra Gorge, a picturesque canyon popular among outdoor enthusiasts. Passing through Ziz Valley, we'll reach Erfoud, a town known for fossils and an oasis on the edge of the Sahara desert. Here, we can visit a local factory crafting artisanal items from fossils. Afterward, we'll head to Rissani to explore the local souk before continuing to Merzouga for an overnight stay in a traditional riad.
Today is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga desert. You can choose to ride camels or explore by 4×4, enjoying the unique landscapes and visiting Khamlia village known for its traditional music. Don't miss the breathtaking sunset over the Sahara dunes. The evening will be filled with local music and a traditional Berber dinner around a campfire.
We'll rise early to catch the sunrise over the desert before returning to our hotel by camel. After breakfast, we'll drive through Rissani and Erfoud, stopping in Midelt in the Atlas Mountains for lunch. Finally, we'll journey to Fes, where our private tour concludes.
