Our 2 Days tour from Marrakech to Zagora Desert starts with a friendly pick-up from your hotel or the airport. First, we’ll journey through the impressive Tizi Tichka Pass, standing tall at 4,260 meters, in the beautiful Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll catch sight of Berber farms and quaint villages nestled in the mountainside.

Once we reach Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco,” you’ll notice the charming Berber farms and traditional villages dotting the landscape. Following a satisfying lunch, we’ll make a special visit to the historic Taourirt Kasbah.

Our journey continues southward, crossing the Tizi-n-Tnifift pass, revealing a vast oasis of palm trees. After approximately two hours on the road, we’ll arrive in Zagora, where your camel companions will be waiting leading you to a nomadic tent deep in the desert. Here, you’ll spend a magical night beneath the starry desert sky.

On the second day of our adventure, we’ll start by watching the sun rise beautifully over the narrow dunes of the Zagora Desert. It will be a moment that captures your heart. After we enjoy a tasty breakfast and say goodbye to our camel friends, we’ll hop back into our comfy car and travel along the same scenic road along Dra’a Valley.

Our next stop will be the historic Ait Benhaddou, often called a “fortified city.” This amazing place sits along the old caravan route connecting the Sahara Desert and Marrakech. Ait Benhaddou has some truly stunning examples of kasbahs, some of which people still call home. It’s perched on a hill near the Ouarzazate River and is even recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Plus, it has been in many famous movies, like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.

After a tasty lunch, we’ll start a journey that will take us over the big Atlas Mountains, a majestic range that separates the desert from Marrakech.
